This song is now available on iTunes and Amazon. If you like the video a higher rez version can be purchased on iTunes (for your iPod etc) by searching on “Second Person”.

If you like this video please support the band by telling your friends - check out: http://www.secondperson.net, http://www.myspace.com/secondperson or email “friends@ secondperson.net” for more info.

This is the first of five videos to be taken from Second Person’s second studio release “The Elements”. This album was entirely funded by fans of the band who raised $50,000 (on Sellaband.com). A huge amount of effort went into every second of this video, with the references, colours, characters and assets all painstakingly designed and re-designed to be just right. When seen as a whole, with all five videos, a lot of things will make sense… hope you like this first one!

For more information on Sellaband and the band have a look at http://www.sellaband.com/secondperson where you can download this track for free.

wood
purple dove asked:

Is there a paint technique to make wood look like brushed metal? Like a brushed steel or nickel look. I have wooden knobs and pulls that i want to paint to look like a brushed metal. i can’t afford to buy actual brushed metal knobs and pulls so need to find a way to make wood look like that.
Also i already have metal fan blades that are painted bright yellow, i want them to be the same effect of the brushed metal look is there a technique to do this look or a product that i can use to give everything that effect?
Note: i do NOT want them to be shiny, i want that dull brushed look.
Thanks in advance.
Maybe chrome is the word i am looking for instead of nickel.

pavawava asked:

I know the obvious ones: cedar, cypress, redwood, but what other types of wood are suitable for outdoor projects? A friend of mine mills his own lumber and we’re going to start building different outdoor products, but aren’t entirely sure what types of wood can be used.

john doe asked:

What is the best wood preservative for your deck? I am using #2 pressure treated pine that is 2 years old. I took up the decking and am turning them over and sanding them with 36 and/or 50 grit. I bought a few gallons of TWP (total wood preservative). Is that better then Thomson? I understand it keeps the black mildew at bay that grows on pressure your treated pine that has been out in the sun for while.
