These frogs freeze completely when winter comes, entering a hibernation period. They actually stop their heartbeat, and thaw when spring comes..

Actually its pretty rare - Most burrow in the ground or stay underwater to avoid freezing.
thats odd, i got froze some frogs in my freezer, and then help speed its thawing process by chucking it into the microwave…somehow they were warm or hot…but not really alive…
where am i going wrong guys?

just go tap it with an ice cube when it freezes turn it to face the other way, wakes up… umm ***?

i got a question can bull frogs do this because when i was about 9-10 one time me and my brother went walking on this small creek behind out house in the winter and the ice was about 5 inches thick and i remember i saw a bull frog under the ice and we took a hammer and chipped it out and we left it sitting on top of the ice near the hole we made and we left it, we came back about 10 minutes later and it was gone, and there was no animal tracks or anything suggesting something eating it.
Not any frog but only certain species.
